We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Surgical Technician II performs the scrub role as a member of the Perioperative team. Assists the surgeon at the sterile field and the registered nurse during the surgical procedure. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today! + Functions as a member of a specialty team + Ability to work cooperatively with the surgical team + Demonstrates competency in the practice of advanced level case assignment and advanced level equipment + Acts as resource person for others in the department and actively participates in the preceptor role in the training of new personnel + Helps coordinate special instrument needs between SPD and the OR for each specialty **Qualifications:** + Certification as surgical technician + Current BCLS + Completion of a surgical technician program + Minimum of 2 years' experience as a surgical technician, in an acute care facility preferred Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.
