Job Title: Sonographer

Location: Peoria, IL

Salary: $38.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:

Join a nationally recognized mobile imaging provider and serve patients across nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other locations throughout the Peoria region. This full-time Sonographer role requires independence, professionalism, and the ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging with portable ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and process ultrasounds using portable equipment
• Accurately acquire and transmit diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation
• Travel to multiple care facilities per day using company-provided vehicle
• Verify patient orders and identification using two non-yes/no identifiers
• Maintain daily communication with dispatch and scan all paperwork as required
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance standards
• Respond to urgent communication within 15 minutes during shift hours
• Document all work performed and provide professional interaction with clients
• Attend meetings and trainings, and assist in onboarding new technologists

Qualifications:

• Prior sonography experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound principles and practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing mobile equipment
• Must be self-directed and professional in all client interactions
• Willingness to travel within the designated service area
