Palliative / Hospice Physician
Pittsburgh, PA | Starting at $250,000+ | Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Are you passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to those living with serious illness? We are seeking a Palliative and Hospice Care Physician to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA , serving as a community-based specialist supporting patients with chronic kidney disease, ESRD, and other complex conditions.

This is a full-time, weekday role offering a dynamic mix of hospice, palliative, and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling locally to hospice facilities and may already hold (or be able to obtain) privileges at area hospitals or hospices.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver palliative and hospice care to patients across various care settings

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage symptoms and support quality of life

  • Coordinate care for a population with chronic conditions including CKD, ESRD, and multiple comorbidities

  • Serve as a specialist resource in the community

  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with families and providers

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in Palliative Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with Palliative/Hospice experience

  • Current or eligible Pennsylvania medical license

  • Able and willing to travel to hospice facilities for in-person visits (valid driver’s license required)

  • Familiarity with managed Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance populations

  • Bonus: Local hospital and/or hospice privileges
