Job Description

The Water Quality Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Hydrogeologist 2 position. This position is located in our Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

This position offers you an exciting opportunity to learn about the varied hydrogeology in Eastern Washington and engage with the regulated community to protect both groundwater and surface water quality. You will be a part of an experienced team reviewing hydrogeologic studies and investigations and writing waste discharge permits for industrial and municipal facilities in the region.

Tele-work options for this position: This position will be eligible for up to an 80% tele-work schedule, with the expectation of working in the office one day per week plus time in the field as needed.
