A Brief Overview
The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for the overall communications strategies, implementation, scheduling, and analytics that need to be conducted in order to support the brand, the Bank's regions, and its different lines of business objectives. This role is also responsible for the deployment of cohesive communications plans, budget, analytics, and results to improve marketing initiatives’ ROI. The Officer ensures that all communication pieces are up to date, follow the Bank’s brand guidelines, and meet compliance and legal requirements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Develop and execute internal and external communications plans, budgets, and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner, overseeing the production of communication materials, related pieces, and events in line with the corporate brand and business units' products and services goals under the supervision of the direct supervisor.
Responsible for the Community program and results, and the management of the Events, Sponsorship, and Donations Committee.
Manage the development, monitoring, and optimization of content for all digital channels, including, but not limited to email, social media, publicity campaigns, corporate website, and internal channels.
Maintain an open and constructive dialogue and working relationship with the business units, direct supervisor, team members, advertising agencies, and similar partners and suppliers.
Review and analyze the execution of communications efforts on a quarterly basis.
Keep metrics and studies of all communications campaigns, efforts, activities, programs, and events, analyzing them for recommendations in future programs. Metrics include, but are not limited to ROI, market shares, media SOV & SOI, and earned media dollars.
Manage and maintain a budget for the respective brand, businesses, products, and services, providing businesses with the information required on a timely and regular basis as established.
Coordinate and supervise events, being responsible for analyzing results.
Process routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting, and payables under the direct instruction of the immediate supervisor.
Build marketing communication knowledge through on-the-job training and seminars.
Develop and complete special projects and tasks as requested by the direct supervisor or management.
Competencies:
Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines. Passionate about understanding consumers and developing marketing and communications programs.
High proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Demonstration of strong project management and organization skills.
Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communication skills are a must.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units.
Understanding of digital marketing communication strategies.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising.
12-15 years in planning, coordination, and organization of communication materials, including arts development, communications, and advertising; ability to handle basic accounting matters.
Or the equivalent combination of education and experience needed to perform the functions of this job.
