Job Description

Our client, a global distributor and reseller of broadband equipment, is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to join their leadership team as a strategic partner to the CEO.  This role represents a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact across the organization during a period of dynamic growth.

As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a force multiplier for the CEO, focusing on overall execution and operationalizing of highly visible critical programs measured by business growth and frictionless activities within the operations of the company. You will have the opportunity to lead high-priority initiatives that span multiple business functions, technology systems, operational processes, and the ability to play an important role scaling to a global billion-dollar business.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a blend of strategic, operational, project management, and leadership skills. Additionally, they should possess exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and critical thinking skills. They have a high EQ, enjoy solving complex problems, and operate with a strong bias toward action and results while leveraging teamwork across the company. 

This will be a full-time, exempt position based onsite in Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities

Executive Partnership and Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, managing day-to-day operational priorities and ensuring effective execution of the CEO's vision

  • Facilitate the prioritization and execution of key strategic initiatives through collaborative partnerships with the senior leadership team

  • Align stakeholders around business objectives and implement clear organizational structures and communication channels

  • Enhance executive meeting effectiveness through thoughtful agenda design, high-quality content preparation, and diligent follow-up

  • Provide high-level executive assistant support when needed, including calendar prioritization and meeting preparation

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead cross-functional, high-priority projects with clear ownership and accountability

  • Develop and drive success metrics, KPIs, and scorecard implementation across the business in support of the CEO and senior leadership team

  • Proactively monitor key performance indicators and flag areas of concern

  • Support integrations post-acquisition

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to drive operational efficiency and business growth

Executive Communications:

  • Amplify the CEO's time, decision-making capabilities, messaging, and organizational influence

  • Facilitate effective communication between leadership and the broader organization

  • Lead the preparation and development of executive presentations for reviews, all-hands meetings, offsite events, and other key forums

  • Act as a communication bridge between the CEO and the rest of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Strategy and Operations

  • Prior success in a Chief of Staff or business operations leadership role within a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in both small business and enterprise environments (with understanding of how to apply enterprise structure to smaller operations)

  • Exceptional project and change management expertise with demonstrated ability to drive business transformation

  • Distribution industry or Manufacturing experience required (understanding of the dynamics between manufacturers, distributors, and customers)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with GSuite/Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting acquisition integration and teams scaling in a PE-backed environment

  • Must be available to work onsite daily in Englewood, CO (near Dove Valley)

Compensation : DOE $150,000-200,000 USD annual salary + quarterly bonus
